Key Responsibilities

  • Solutions Engineering
    • Design and implement systems integrations to support business needs, both internally and externally, with a view to support surplus food redistribution at enterprise level scale with some of the worlds largest retail, restaurant and food industry partners
  • Data and Trend Analysis
    • Integration management: monitoring and measuring key aspects of integration to improve effectiveness
    • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to provide integration and product feedback to support future planning.
    • Work with management to prioritise business and information needs
    • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
    • Improve existing system processes and identify partner integration opportunities where appropriate.
  • Relationship Management
    • Work with the Engineering and Business teams to design, build and implement the structures and rules to reconcile, archive and maintain historic data
    • Collaborate with customers directly to support and guide external implementation of integrations.

Key Skills

  • 2+ years’ experience as a software developer, technical support or data analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models and flows, system analysis and design and integration management
  • Highly Numerate with the ability to analyse, model and interpret data and systems
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL etc), programming (Javascript, PHP, Python) and APIs (JSON, Rest APIs, Postman)
  • Proven ability to work with internal and external partners and demonstrate good interpersonal skills to work as part of a team
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to identify issues, route cause and create a structured solution
  • Ability to communicate and explain issues, solutions and findings to non-technical business users, adept at verbal communication, report writing and presentation of findings.
  • A methodical and logical approach
  • The ability to plan work and meet deadlines
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Management or similar desirable but not required.
